Bon Echo Provincial Park

Bon Echo Park is on beautiful Lake Mazinaw. I think this is the best place to visit for late summer/ early fall camping. The park has amazing history. You can still see early native drawings on the sides of the cliffs.

The swimming is great and there are 2 beaches to visit. The sand is a bit coarse - but very clean.
There are numerous hiking trails. Pack a picnic and enjoy the scenery.

Since it is a provincial park, educational and entertainment opportunities are available.
If you like rustic camping - there are a number of 'walk-in' only sites! I have not tried these - but I can say they look nice.

The electrical sites are great and the showers are handy.
