Help identifying tent
by: Richard

I was cleaning out the shed and found sons' tents from maybe 20 years ago. On an instruction page it is Style #14648 - Dome Tent. It appears to be a one-man tent. It has three connecting poles that I slid through the holes and set up. It is in great shape. My sons are grown up and have tents for their own sons. What I was wondering are the following: What size is this tent? About how much is it worth. I was going to try to sell it, but didn't know what it may be worth.

If you could help, I would appreciate it. I don't know how to get your response, so my email address is: rvaldez@tooeleschools.org. Thanks for whatever help you can provide.

I think I have it
by: Anonymous

Hello

I have an American Tent. It is red and white and has pole like the ones you outlined in your post. However I dont have short poles and long poles I only have the same poles. They have colors on them like Blue, Brown, Red, one White, one Pink, Yellow and so on.

Do you have a pic you can post so I can be sure I have the tent setup right? I set it up in the driveway and it seems to look as if it will work but still looks off a bit. Any pics would be a big help.

American Camper tent Joshua, 13'6 x 8
by: Heidi

Hi there-
I was gifted the Joshau 13'6 x 8' dome tent, with no poles. I can't get information as to the size of the pole that was originally used, and thus, can't buy replacement poles. I've even called tentpole tech in seattle area for information-keep leaving messages, and no return reply for them.
Looks like a great tent-would love to use it. Any knowledge as to the size of the poles that would be used? 1/2", 7/8", 1/4"? Or how many are needed. Would love to just go get everything in one fell swoop.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Heidi
